We now also have available a new 'Anti-slip Shimmy Numnah' which is proving to be fantastic for those roly-poly natives in particular! This is made to the same specifications as the Shimmy Numnahs you can see below, but the wool lining is replaced with non-pvc anti slip material and the top also has a supple dense anti slip material to give even better stability. Absolutely fantastic for use with the Fhoenix range of saddles! See below to order. Please note that for FlexEE and Fhoenix/Vogue Saddles I highly recommend that you use a numnah with short d ring straps, like those which are on Dressage saddles, rather than the long girth straps on most GP numnahs as all the Heather Moffett range of saddles have a Dressage girth arrangement. These d ring straps are a special order on any GP numnah, so please see the item specifically for HM Saddles if you are looking for a GP numnah.
 
HiWither Half Wool Shimmy Numnah
This numnah is ideal for use with the Fhoenix range of saddles as well as a temporary measure when fitting treed saddles, to accommodate the changing shape of a horse or when using the same saddle on a number of horses. It can also be used in conjunction with saddles that are fitted wider (using fitting principles like those of Balance Saddles) to allow more room for the horse's shoulder but using the shims to create 'lift' to stop the saddle sitting too low.

Cut in the Nuumed's HiWither style to ensure no pressure over the wither, this numnah has pockets front and back which the user can insert one or all three of the foam shimmy pads to alter or adjust the saddle. Made in polycotton with a memory foam inner and lined with Nuumed wool for extra comfort. Please note that Nuumed have recently started using a longer wool on the underside making it even more luxurious and giving even more protection than the shorter wool used in their previous Shimmy Numnahs.

N.B. We highly recommend that you use a Square Shaped Saddlecloth with the HM range of saddles as these do fit the flap shape better. All the Dressage cut Nuumed numnahs already come with d ring attachments for use with the HM Saddle range but please see the separate item below for the HM GP Numnahs with d-ring straps.

This numnah is ideal for use with the Fhoenix and FlexEE range of saddles as well as a temporary measure when fitting treed saddles, to accommodate the changing shape of a horse or when using the same saddle on a number of horses. This numnah is specifically for the HM range of GP saddles in that it has d ring straps rather than girth straps to attach to the saddle. *But please note that we recommend using a square shaped saddlecloth as this will fit the flap shape better*
